Report on 11th International Yoga Day Celebrated at SVHMCH, Humnabad

Sri Veerabhadreshwar Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Humnabad, in association with its Yoga and Health Promotion Department, celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day on Saturday, 21st June 2025, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the college porch.

The event was held under the valuable guidance of Mr. Anandkumar, Yoga Expert, and Dr. S. Panchakashri, Programme Officer. The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, marking the auspicious beginning of the event.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Nadgouda, Director of the institution, Dr. Indrajeet Shah, Principal, Dr. S. Panchakashri, along with all faculty members, hospital staff, and students from the first to final year BHMS courses.

This year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, resonated with the broader vision of holistic well-being and sustainable living. The aim, “Yoga for Self and Society”, was emphasized throughout the session to highlight yoga’s impact on individual and community health.

Mr. Anandkumar, the Yoga Guru, conducted a guided yoga session, explaining the scientific relevance and health benefits of various yogic postures and breathing techniques. He stressed the importance of incorporating yoga into daily routine for physical, mental, and emotional balance.

The programme was introduced by Dr. S. Panchakashri, and concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the contribution and enthusiastic participation of all attendees.
