Humnabad, 3 & 4 Oct 2025 – Sri Veerabhadreshwar Homoeopathic Medical College &
Hospital, Humnabad, organized a Free Medical Camp near the RTO office at Rajeshkar Traile
Workshop, Humnabad, for devotees undertaking the barefoot walk to Tuljapur Temple,
Maharashtra, on the occasion of Dussehra.
The camp focused on Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening, including diabetes,
hypertension, obesity, and thyroid disorders. Health awareness sessions were also conducted on
menstrual hygiene and holistic nutrition. Free Homoeopathic medicines were distributed, and
necessary investigations such as blood sugar testing were provided to needy patients.
A dedicated team comprising faculty members and final-year BHMS students from the college
offered medical care and counseling. Expert guidance was provided by Dr. Bhagyashree, Dr.
Prashant Hudgi, Mr. Sanjay Guttedar, and Dr. Indrajeet Shah.
The camp was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Bhimrao B. Patil, MLC, Humnabad, and witnessed
enthusiastic participation from devotees. Special thanks were extended to Mr. Rajeshkar
Chinchole, organizer of the camp, for his support and for providing free food to the devotees.
The organizers also expressed gratitude to Dr. Chandrashekar B. Patil, MLC, Humnabad,
and Chairman of the College Management, for his continuous encouragement and support in
making the camp a success.
