Blood Donation Camp at SVHMCH on World Blood Donor Day

On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, a Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized at Sri Veerabhadreshwar Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (SVHMCH), Humnabad, in collaboration with Government Hospital Humnabad and BRIMS, Bidar. The camp began at 9:30 a.m. and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, parents, and healthcare professionals.
The event was inaugurated with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by distinguished dignitaries including: Dr. Anil Chintamani – District Tuberculosis Programme Officer, Bidar, Dr. Nagnath Hulsure – Chief Medical Officer, General Hospital, Humnabad, Dr. Mujtaba – Medical Officer, Government Hospital, Humnabad, Dr. Indrajeet P. Shah – Principal, SVHMCH, Dr. Nadgouda Director, Dr. Brijesh – Principal, Rajarajeshwari Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Mr. Sanjay Guttedar – Office Superintendent, SVHMCH
The camp was efficiently managed by Dr. Sayyda (Department of Anatomy), with support from Dr. Swetha, Dr. Bhagyashree (Medical Officer), and a dedicated team of students. Medical assistance was extended by professionals from BRIMS, Bidar, including: Mr. Suryakanth – District Supervisor, Bidar, Mrs. Geeta Reddy – Counselor, General Hospital, Humnabad, Mr. Shivnath Swamy – BRIMS Blood Bank, Bidar
The teaching and non-teaching staff, along with students and their parents, played a vital role in the smooth execution of the camp. Their wholehearted involvement contributed greatly to the success of this noble initiative.
