Humnabad, March 8, 2025 – Sri Veerabhadreshwar Homoeopathic Medical College and
Hospital celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm, honoring the
contributions of women in the medical field and society.
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and
empowerment. The occasion was graced by Dr. Sangeeta H, a renowned gynecologist from
Humnabad, who delivered an inspiring speech. She highlighted key issues related to women’s
health and the challenges faced by women in the medical profession.
Adding to the significance of the event, Mrs. Savita, PSI, Humnabad Police Station, addressed
the gathering. She spoke about the daily challenges faced by women and emphasized the
importance of education in empowering them.
Dr. Indrajeet Shah, Principal of the College, also addressed the audience, acknowledging the
dedication and sacrifices of women in the field of healthcare. He encouraged students to work
towards gender equality and to recognize the crucial role women play in society.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Sayyda, Assistant Professor, who
expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their active
participation in making the celebration a success.
Lastly, the college extended its heartfelt gratitude to the management and Dr.
Chandrashekhar B. Patil, MLC Humnabad, for providing the opportunity to organize this
meaningful event.
The program served as a tribute to the immense contributions of women in medicine and

ಸಬಲಿಕರಣದ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿತ್ತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿತು, ಇದು ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಬೆಳಕು ಮತ್ತು
ಸಬಲಿಕರಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಮನಾಬಾದ್ನ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಸ್ತ್ರೀರೋಗತಜ್ಞೆ ಡಾ. ಸಂಗೀತಾ ಎಚ್.
ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾಗುವ
ಸವಾಲುಗಳು ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಭಾವಶಾಲಿ ಭಾಷಣ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಹುಮನಾಬಾದ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಾವಿತಾ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ತಮ್ಮ
ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸವಾಲುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಹತ್ವ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು
ತಮ್ಮ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿತ ಬದುಕು ಸಾಗಿಸಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವೆಂದು ಅವರು
ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಇಂದ್ರಜೀತ್ ಶಾ ಅವರು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸೇವೆ,
ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಲಿಂಗ ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳಾ
ಸಬಲಿಕರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಸಯ್ಯದ, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ, ವಂದನಾ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು
ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಗಣ್ಯರು, ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ
ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ, ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿದ ಕಾಲೇಜು ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ
