The Department of Practice of Medicine at Sri Veerabhadreshwar Homoeopathic Medical
College & Hospital, Humnabad, organized an awareness program and free health check-up to
mark World Heart Day at the KSRTC Bus Stand, Humnabad, Dist. Bidar, Karnataka.
World Heart Day, established by the World Heart Federation in 1999, is observed globally on
September 29 each year to spread awareness about cardiovascular diseases and promote
preventive healthcare. The theme for 2025, “Use Heart, Know Heart,” served as a reminder for
people to understand their heart health and take proactive measures for its care.
The camp included free blood sugar and blood pressure screenings and distribution of
homoeopathic medicines to patients in need. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Ravindra
(DM, KSRTC Bus Depot Humnabad), Mr. Hanumanth (ATI, KSRTC Depot Humnabad),
and Mr. Ramesh Shindhi (Depot Incharge, KSRTC Humnabad). The dignitaries were
felicitated by Dr. Indrajeet P. Shah, Principal of the college.
The event was supported by Dr. Radson (Assistant Professor, Department of Practice of
Medicine), Dr. Abu (Medical Officer), and final-year BHMS students. Among them, Ms.
Irami and Ms. Nikita delivered awareness talks on the prevention and early diagnosis of heart
diseases, engaging the community members gathered at the bus stand.
The management, under the leadership of Dr. Chandrashekar B. Patil, MLC, Chairman,
extended full support and encouragement for the successful conduct of the event. The initiative
highlighted the institution’s ongoing commitment to community health, preventive medicine,
and public awareness.

ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಉಚಿತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು.
ಶಿಬಿರವು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ತದೊತ್ತಡ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ
ಹೋಮಿಯೋಪತಿ ಔಷಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹುಮನಾಬಾದ್ನ ಕೆಎಸ್ಆರ್ಟಿಸಿಯ ಶ್ರೀ ರವೀಂದ್ರ
(ಡಿಎಂ), ಶ್ರೀ ಹನುಮಂತ್ (ಎಟಿಐ) ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ರಮೇಶ್ ಶಿಂಧಿ (ಡಿಪೋ ಇನ್ಚಾರ್ಜ್) ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು
ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಇಂದ್ರಜೀತ್ ಪಿ. ಶಾ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತಿಮ ವರ್ಷದ ಬಿಎಚ್ಎಂಎಸ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು
ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿದರು, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಇರಮಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಿಕಿತಾ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಭಾಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಎಂಎಲ್ಸಿ, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ.
ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಬಿ. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವು ಸಮುದಾಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟುವ
