Sri Veerabhadreshwar Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Humnabad — affiliated to RGUHS, Bengaluru and recognized by NCH, New Delhi — celebrated Doctors’ Day on Tuesday, 1st July 2025 with great enthusiasm and academic spirit at the college auditorium.
The event commenced at 9:30 AM with the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp and an Invocation, symbolizing the light of knowledge and dedication in the field of medicine.
The program was anchored gracefully by Mr. Ariful, a final year BHMS student, whose confident presence and seamless flow kept the event engaging and well-paced.
The gathering was warmly welcomed by Dr. Anuradha, Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology, who delivered the introductory speech, setting the tone for the day’s significance and offering heartfelt appreciation to all healthcare professionals.
Following this, Dr. Indrajeet P. Shah, Principal of SVHMC&H, addressed the audience and invited the Chief Guest, Dr. Brijesh K., Principal of Rajarajeshwari Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Humnabad, to share his insights. Dr. Brijesh emphasized the critical role of doctors in community well-being and encouraged future medical professionals to serve with compassion and dedication.
The highlight of the celebration was the Scientific Session, which featured domain experts from various medical disciplines delivering insightful lectures on emergency medicine and the relevance of Homoeopathy in today’s clinical settings.

• Dr. Soumy S. (Pediatrician) – Management of Neonatal Emergencies
Dr. Soumy S., a specialist in pediatric care, provided an in-depth overview of identifying and managing critical conditions in neonates. Her session helped students understand life-saving protocols essential in pediatric emergencies.
• Dr. Vishal (Anesthesiologist) – Acute Medical Emergencies in Casualty
With extensive experience in emergency and critical care, Dr. Vishal elaborated on structured approaches to acute medical scenarios. His clinical examples bridged theory and practical emergency response strategies.
• Dr. Rahul (Physician) – Interpretation of ECG in Emergency Conditions
