Report on “SWACHHATA HI SEVA” 01 OCT, 2023″
As a part of 9° Anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission where the launch of “Swachhata hi Seva” a massive cleanliness is a campaign in India that aims to clean up the public places like bus stand, railways station, historical monuments, heritage sites both in rural and urban places. The National Commission for Homoeopathy has ¿guided to all Homoeopathic Medical Colleges in India for undertaking Shramdaan/Yoliintarism swachhata activities with aiming to generate Jan Andolan through community participation resulting into perceixable visual cleanliness. Our institution Sri Veerabhadreshwar Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Humnabad Dist: Bidar has organized this event in the rural place at Village Jasangvi Dist Bidar at l0am to 01 00 PM on l”t OCT 2023.
Objective of this program is about preservation of the Historic Monuments at Heritage sites, by promoting cleanliness, hygiene and eliminating the waste garbage’s.
Principal Dr Indrajeet Shah initiated cleaning activities among volunteers. He motivated colles e Teachins Staff, Non Teaching staff and Student Volunteers towards Clean India’ by his inspirational talk.
In this SHS camp Programme Coordinator Dr Prashant Hudgi, faculty members Dr Suman, Dr Karuna. Dr Ayesha and ‹i0 Students Volunteers are actively participated, clean the Heritage place. Jalasangvi is an ancient village near Humnabad in Bidar district. Jalasangvi was the capital of King Virata and Pandava brothers are believed to have spent time here during their exile. The premises like Ishwara Temple and historic monuments were preserved.
The Students volunteers have sensitized the villas e people on hygiene maintenance of houses and surrounding areas also how to maintain cleanliness & preserve the historic places. During the cleanness drives the volunteers’ wearing gloves and collected all the litter in dustbin for disposal. The volunteers were instructed to clean their hands with soap at the end.
