SVET’s Sri Veerabhadreshwar Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, celebrated the
‘National Girl Child Day” on 24th Jan2023 asper instruction given by National Health Mission.
Under this mission our college has visited to Government Hospital Humnabad Dist. Bidar to
congratulate mother and the new born girl child, we also distributed sweets and fruits as a token
ofcare.
Further we assured to provide necessary health facilities available at our college Sri
Veerabhadreshwar Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Humnabad, for the mother and
for healthy growth and development of the child.
Our college has even initiated a program to create awareness gender inequalities in the society
and access to education and other basic necessities required for a girl child, to have a promising
feature.
This program was organized by Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Department of
Practice of Medicine, under the guidance of Dr.Soumya Patil, Dr. Deepthi, Dr. Karunaratna, Dr.
Indrajeet Shah and Dr. Jeelani.
I thanks to our principal sir for encouraging us to organize this day and also the second year
BHMS students who has actively participated.
A special thanks to Dr. Naganath Hulsoore sir (chief medical officer) Govt. Humnabad Dist.
Bidar, for allowing us in the Govt. hospital to celebrate this auspicious day.
Lastly I thanks to our management for arranging all the needs to make this day memorable.
