WORLD DIABETES DAY 2022
On the occasion of WORLD DIABETES DAY 2022 was organised by Departments of
Pathology and Physiology and celebrated this day by planning diabetes education program,
exhibition for patients, staff and faculty on the 14th and 15th November 2022 at Seminar hall, Sri
Veerabhadreshwar Medical College & Hospital, Humnabad. The session inaugurated with Dr.
Indrajeet P. Shah, Principal, Sri Veerabhadreshwar Medical College & Hospital, Humnabad,
welcoming the gathering and all the resource persons who are partnered with Sri
Veerabhadreshwar Medical College & Hospital, Humnabad. Dr. Srinivas K. Prof. also
highlighted the severity of this disease and the need to track the epidemic of diabetes. The
education program was started with a talk by resource person by Dr. Suresh R. Nair, Professor &
HOD Community Medicine; Dr Swarnshree K. Asst. Prof. Department of Organon of Medicine
discussed on the topic of Diabetes Mellitus and Homoeopathic Management. Dr. Suman.
Assistant Professor and Dr Bhagyashree Asst. Prof. shared the importance of self-care in
diabetes and the importance of laboratory investigations in diabetes.
Students of I and II BHMS have actively participated in preparing working models, charts and
PPTs in exhibition on world diabetes day. Students were presented their models and explained
effectively to the visitors.
This informative session and exhibition (World diabetes day) was attended by more than 100
participant including HKDETs Rajrajeshwari Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital,
Humnabad, Sri Bheemarao Patil College of Physiotherapy, Humanbad.
All the teaching staff of HKDETs Rajrajeshwari Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital,
Humnabad and Sri Bheemarao Patil College of Physiotherapy, Humanbad were appreciated the
exhibition prepared by the students and the entire session was completed successfully.
